Angela Martin

Angela Martin is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Envest since April 2021. Prior to this role, Angela worked at Suncorp Group from April 2015 to March 2021 as a Legal Manager and Senior Lawyer in Banking & Wealth Advisory, where significant contributions were made to key regulatory changes such as the Banking Executive Accountability Regime and Design & Distribution Obligations. Additional experience includes serving as Head of Motor & Claims Business Legal Team at Direct Line Group from 2009 to December 2013, and as Legal Counsel at the Royal Bank of Scotland from 2005 to 2009. Angela's legal career began as an Articled Clerk with Bowdens Lawyers in 2000 and has included advising insurers and providing corporate advisory services throughout various roles. Angela holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Queensland.
