Annette van der Elst

Annette van der Elst is an accomplished educator and writer with extensive experience in philosophy and psychology. Currently serving as a docent at Vrije Academie | Kunst & Cultuur since June 2019 and as a geestelijk verzorger at Envida, Annette also contributes to the Van Dale Uitgevers as a member of the translation team since May 2017. Additionally, Annette has been involved as a verhalenverteller for DrieTour since January 2017, delivering lectures on travel and notable philosophers. Annette actively participates as a jury member for the Van Helsdingenprijs at Stichting psychiatrie en filosofie and teaches at Het Zoekend Hert. Since July 2006, Annette has held the positions of hoofdredacteur at both CVZ Magazine and ZorgMagzine, overseeing content creation and management. As a freelance journalist for Filosofie Magazine since 2003, Annette conducts interviews and writes essays, while also working as a translator and author for Veen Magazines bv. Annette holds two Master's degrees in Philosophy from Vrije Universiteit Brussel.
