Irma Everink

Irma Everink is an accomplished academic and researcher specializing in short-term elderly care, currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Academische Werkplaats Ouderenzorg Limburg since December 2016. Irma's work focuses on facilitating the return of elderly individuals to independent living after rehabilitation, encompassing various care forms such as geriatrics rehabilitation and primary care. In addition to the academic role, Irma is involved with Envida as a researcher and link between science and practice since October 2019. Irma has extensive experience in quality care measurement through leadership in the Landelijke Prevalentiemeting Zorgkwaliteit (LPZ) and has conducted postdoctoral research optimizing geriatrics rehabilitation pathways. Irma holds multiple degrees from Maastricht University, including Master of Science degrees in Public Policy and Human Development and Health Services Innovation, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences.
