Monique Zimny

Monique Zimny is an experienced dietitian and sports dietitian currently working at Envida since April 2016, where responsibilities include providing dietary guidance in various general practices and health centers in the Maastricht and Heuvelland regions. Monique has also been part of the GRIP team, assisting young individuals aged 12-18 with type 1 diabetes in improving their self-care over a five-week program. Previous roles include authoring for Sportzorg at Vereniging Sportdiëtetiek Nederland, serving as a Realfit dietitian with GGD Zuid Limburg to address overweight among youth, and working in both extramural and intramural capacities at Meandergroep Zuid-Limburg. Monique's background includes an internship at azM / Maastricht UMC+, conducting research on enteral nutrition's effects in oncology patients and authoring an advice report for the dietetics department.
