Fons Buurman

Fons Buurman has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Fons currently holds the position of VP Business Development Europe at Envipco, where they focus on providing cost-effective and efficient equipment for collecting and sorting consumer beverage packaging. Previously, they served as Commercial Director Benelux at WestRock Company and was responsible for managing the Benelux business, including the servicing of large FMCG customers. Fons also held the role of Marketing Director - EMEA at WestRock, where they built up the marketing division and developed B-to-B marketing strategies. Prior to WestRock, Fons worked at Tetra Pak Benelux as an International Key Account Manager and New Business Development Manager. Fons also gained experience in marketing and sales management at Shark Energy drink, Philips Personal Care, and C&A Fashion. Fons began their career as a sailor on the Tallship Antigua Barkentine and as a trainee at Daily Juice products.

Fons Buurman obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marketing & Business Administration from Inholland University of Applied Sciences, where they studied from 1990 to 1996. Prior to this, from 1984 to 1990, they attended Rijnlands Lyceum Sassenheim and completed their Atheneum degree in Economics.
