Katia Carrasquillo

Director Global Compensation at Enviri

Katia Carrasquillo has over 15 years of experience in the field of compensation. Katia is currently serving as the Director of Global Compensation at Enviri since August 2022. Previously, they held positions at Enviri as a Compensation Manager and Compensation Lead, where they led a team of compensation professionals and managed various compensation activities such as market analysis, job evaluation, merit process administration, and support for business units. Katia also played a key role in the development of a global grading system and supported the Proxy process and data management for M&A activities.

Before joining Enviri, Katia worked as a Senior Compensation Analyst and Compensation Analyst II at Enviri, where they performed similar compensation-related activities and played a crucial role in the deployment of the global compensation framework program across different geographies.

Prior to Enviri, Katia worked as a Senior Compensation Specialist at LORD Corporation, where they conducted market analysis, job evaluation, salary structure analysis, and supported business units in compensation-related matters. Katia was also involved in process improvement and the implementation of performance management and salary planning processes globally.

Katia began their career as a Compensation Analyst at The Pantry, Inc. d/b/a Circle K North America, where they conducted job evaluations, administered short-term incentive programs, and supported compensation programs during acquisitions and transitions.

Katia also gained experience as a Compensation Analyst at CEMEX and held HR roles at EVERTEC, where they served as an HR Specialist and Human Resources Representative.

Throughout their career, Katia has demonstrated a strong understanding of compensation practices, market analysis, and program administration, and has actively contributed to the development and improvement of compensation programs across different organizations.

Katia Carrasquillo earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Penn State Harrisburg in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Puerto Rico School of Law in 2010. Their undergraduate studies were completed at the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in 2005 with a focus on Marketing and Human Resources. In addition to their formal education, Katia received certifications such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) from the HR Certification Institute in 2017 and a Professional in Human Resources certification from the Human Resources Certification Institute in 2012. Katia also obtained a Bar Admission for the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico in 2011.
