Amit Bhargava, M.Sc., P. Eng. has a diverse and extensive work experience. Amit co-founded EnviroApps Inc. in 2016 and served as CEO until July 2022. Amit was responsible for formulating the regulatory strategy and obtaining approvals for various development projects at ATCO Power Canada Ltd, where they worked as the Manager of Environment & Regulatory Approvals from September 2015 to October 2019. Prior to that, they worked at Veresen Inc. as the Director of Environmental Approvals & Compliance, ensuring compliance for natural gas-processing and power generation projects across North America. Amit also held the position of Lead of Environment & Regulatory at Colt WorleyParsons, where they managed a team and provided input on regulatory requirements for engineering projects in the oil and gas sector. Additionally, Amit has worked as an Intermediate Air Quality Engineer at Levelton Consultants Ltd. and Jacques Whitford, specializing in emission estimation and air quality impact analysis. Amit began their career as an Air Quality Engineer at Conor Pacific.

Amit Bhargava earned a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Chemical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Rourkela from 1990 to 1994. Amit then pursued a Master of Technology degree in Environmental Technology & Management at the Asian Institute of Technology from 1996 to 1997. Following that, they attended the University of Calgary from 1997 to 2000, although the specific degree and field of study are unknown. Aside from their formal education, they obtained a certification in ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management Systems Lead Auditor from RABQSA in January 2013.
