Aniela Travers

Technical Director, Archaeological & Tribal Consultation Services at EnviroBusiness, Inc.

Aniela joined EBI Consulting in 2009 and has over 15 years of experience in cultural resource management, working on both prehistoric and historic sites across the U.S., and conducting archaeological research, report writing and archiving. In her role, she helps clients navigate the environmental review process to ensure compliance with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) requirements under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA).

As Technical Director of Archaeological and Tribal Consultation Services, Aniela is responsible for nationwide project coordination for EBI’s Archaeology and Tribal Consultation Departments, including managing team members, project-specific scoping and proposal services, vetting subcontractors, establishing internal protocols, and archaeological and tribal consultation technical direction.

Aniela is a Register of Professional Archaeologists (RPA) member experienced in Section-106 Compliance as it pertains to archaeological Phase I, II, and III excavations. She is also a member of the Society for American Archaeology. Aniela earned her Master of Science in Forensic Archaeology: Crime Scene and Internal Investigations from Bournemouth University and a Bachelor of Science in Archaeological Studies from the University of Wisconsin—La Crosse.
