Jim Johnson

Jim Johnson is an experienced professional with a strong background in strategic partnerships and energy management. Currently serving as VP of Strategic Partnerships at Environ Energy since January 2024, Jim previously held the role of Director of OEM Partnerships at Proterra Inc, where efforts focused on establishing charging projects for electric school buses. Prior to that, Jim was the Director of Strategic Partnerships at EVBox, leading initiatives to enhance Electric Vehicle charging hardware sales through various channels. Jim's leadership experience also includes positions as VP of Commercial & Industrial Solutions at CLEAResult, where oversight involved a team managing a substantial P&L, and VP of Commercial Delivery at Ecova, responsible for utility solutions and program delivery nationwide. Jim holds an AB in Economics from Brown University and an MBA in Sustainable Enterprise from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
