Emily Rusch

Emily Rusch has extensive work experience in the environmental and public interest sectors. Emily is currently the Vice President and Senior Director for State Organizations at The Public Interest Network, a position they have held since March 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Director for State Organizations at both PIRG and Environment America, beginning in March 2021. Emily previously worked at CALPIRG, where they joined in 2005 as a Consumer Advocate and later became the Executive Director, holding this role from May 2009 to June 2021. Before CALPIRG, they worked as an Energy Advocate at New Jersey PIRG from August 2001 to May 2005.

Emily Rusch attended Willamette University from 1997 to 2001, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History.
