Ian Giancarlo Eit

Ian Giancarlo is an experienced advocate in environmental issues, currently serving as Oceans Advocate at Environment America since August 2022. Prior to this role, Ian held the position of Campaign Director at Fund for the Public Interest from February 2021 to August 2022. Ian's background includes engineering experience at Loureiro Engineering Associates, Inc. from June 2019 to January 2021, and a research fellowship in the Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln during the summer of 2018. Additionally, Ian completed an internship at the Connecticut Department of Public Health in the summer of 2017. Ian holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering from the University of Connecticut, earned in 2019.
