Christine M. Joachim

Christine M. Joachim has extensive experience in environmental advocacy and program management, currently serving as Vice President for Global Mission at the Environmental Defense Fund since 2005. Previously, positions at the Environmental Defense Fund included Associate Vice President of Programs, Senior Director of Operations, Director of Program Management, Managing Director of the Climate & Air Program, and Deputy Campaign Director. From 2008 to 2011, Joachim was the Managing Director of the Environmental Defence Action Fund. Other roles include Development Director at Environment2004 from 2003 to 2004 and Associate Director at Cambridge Energy Research Associates from 1998 to 2003. Joachim holds a Master in Public Policy focused on Energy, Environment, and Natural Resources Law from Harvard Kennedy School and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Lehigh University.
