Dr. Abhinav Gaurav

Dr. Abhinav Gaurav currently serves as the Lead Advisor for Sustainable Dairy and Advisor for Livestock Management at the Environmental Defense Fund, focusing on dairy productivity enhancement projects in multiple states in India. Previously, Dr. Gaurav was the Program Director at Heifer International, leading initiatives that reached 70,000 vulnerable households in Bihar, while also holding various managerial roles within the organization, focusing on resource leverage, training, and cross-country knowledge exchange. Additional experience includes directing efforts at ADHARSHILA FOR SUSTAINABLE SOCIO-ECONOMIC TRANSFORMATION AND WELFARE, leading CSR projects for the Aditya Birla Group, and supporting livelihood development with the Network for Enterprise Enhancement and Development Support. Dr. Gaurav holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Development from the Xavier Institute of Social Service and a Bachelor's in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry from Orissa Veterinary College.
