Hanling Yang

Hanling Yang is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy transition and environmental law. Currently serving as Associate Vice President at the Environmental Defense Fund since April 2012, Hanling Yang has held several leadership positions, including Senior Director for Energy Transition in Asia and Director of Global Energy and Strategy. Prior experience includes roles as Associate Director at Vermont Law School focusing on U.S.-Asia Partnerships for Environmental Law and as a Program Manager at the International Sustainable Development Foundation. Hanling Yang began an academic career as an Assistant Professor in English at Wuhan University. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School, a Graduate Certificate in Sustainable Urban Planning and Real Estate Development from Portland State University, and a Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature from Wuhan University.
