Rachel O'Connor

Rachel O'Connor is an experienced environmental professional specializing in climate-resilient water systems. Currently serving as a Senior Manager at the Environmental Defense Fund since March 2019, Rachel has previously held roles at AMP Insights as a Senior Research Associate and at The Nature Conservancy as Texas Freshwater Coordinator. Additional experience includes positions at Goleta Water District, the State of Vermont, the US Forest Service, and Cameron Engineering & Associates, where Rachel developed expertise in water conservation, hydrology, and GIS analysis. Rachel earned a Master’s Degree in Environmental Science and Management with a focus on Water Resources Management from UC Santa Barbara and holds a Bachelor's degree in Geography from SUNY Geneseo.
