Environmental Education Unit, An Taisce
Laragh McCann is the founder of Climate Love Ireland, a grassroots climate action community established in March 2019 that connects individuals to nature and community. In addition to this role, Laragh serves as a Climate Ambassador with the Environmental Education Unit of An Taisce, participating in Ireland's first initiative aimed at training individuals on climate change action since January 2021. Laragh also founded Climate Love Fashion in May 2019, a socially conscious fashion brand that emphasizes female leadership and sustainability by using only 100% reloved materials. Furthermore, Laragh has worked as a Communications Officer for Friends of the Earth Ireland from July 2022 to January 2024. Education was completed at Holy Child Killiney between 2000 and 2008.

Environmental Education Unit, An Taisce
An Taisce's Environmental Education Unit operates various national and international environmental, education and sustainability programmes throughout Ireland. The unit is the National Operator for all international environmental education programmes of FEE (Foundation for Environmental Education). These programmes include the Blue Flag Award for Beaches and Marinas, Green-Schools, Green Campus, Young Reporters for the Environment (YRE) and LEAF (Learning about Forests). The unit also operates a number of national programmes including the Clean Coasts programme, National Spring Clean (Ireland’s largest anti-litter campaign), the Climate Ambassador Programme and Neat Streets. In addition, it is the national assessor for IBAL (Irish Business against Litter) ‘All-Ireland Anti-Litter League’. As well as a Director and a senior management team, the Unit has over 50 full-time staff members and 10 part-time and temporary staff. The Environmental Education Unit is based off Francis St, in Dublin 8, with staff located nationwide.
