Ally McAlpine

Ally McAlpine is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in environmental and social justice advocacy. Currently serving as the Acting Justice Team Lead and Acting Clean Air Team Lead at Environmental Justice Australia since November 2022, Ally has held various senior legal roles, including Senior Lawyer at First Nations Legal & Research Services from July 2018 to November 2022. Previous engagements include volunteer work with the National Justice Project and several legal positions at Thomson Geer, Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, and Springvale Monash Legal Service. Ally's legal career commenced as a legal assistant at Brygel Lawyers in 2012, following a comprehensive educational background at Monash University, where both a Master of Laws specializing in International Law and Human Rights and a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History were obtained.
