Libby Prakel is a Special Assistant at Environmental Law & Policy Center since December 2014. Before this role, Libby worked as a Public Affairs and Political Consultant for a Consultant company from April 2014 to November 2014. Libby also served as Chief of Staff for Alderman Michele Smith from September 2011 to March 2014. Libby's experience includes roles such as Campaign Manager, Deputy Political Director, and Grassroots Manager in various political and public affairs positions. Libby holds a MPS in Public Service from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Wittenberg University.

The Environmental Law & Policy Center is the Midwest’s leading environmental advocacy organization. We combine effective public interest litigation with strategic policy advocacy, sound science, and economic analysis. ELPC produces strong results for the environment in the courtrooms, boardrooms, and legislative hearing rooms across the pivotal Midwest states and in Washington D.C.
