Mary McClelland

Mary McClelland currently serves as the Chief Communications Officer at the Environmental Law & Policy Center since December 2018. Prior to this role, McClelland worked as a Nonprofit Marketing & Communications Consultant from June 2017 to December 2018, where support was provided to various organizations in marketing strategy and communications. From November 2010 to June 2017, McClelland held the position of National Marketing & Communications Director at Stand for Children, overseeing communications planning for a national organization focusing on public education across multiple states. Additional experience includes roles as Illinois Marketing & Communications Director at Rock the Vote, Deputy Political Director for Field Operations during the 2008 Presidential election, and various positions in field organizing and campaign work. McClelland holds a BA in English Literature from Denison University.
