Disha Mahajan

Disha Mahajan currently serves as Assistant Vice President at Environmental Management Centre Pvt Ltd, where responsibilities include leading teams on non-regulatory Environmental & Social Impact Assessments and managing biodiversity projects for renewable energy initiatives. Previously, Disha held the position of Principal Environmental Specialist and Senior Environmental Specialist at Environmental Management Centre LLP, conducting biodiversity and environmental assessments. Experience also includes serving as Programme Manager at Ekonnect Knowledge Foundation, developing training programs on Environment & CSR, and Project Analyst at Centre for Environment Education and Development Pvt Ltd, where project planning and ecological assessments were key focus areas. Early career internships included developing biodiversity products at Terracon Ecotech Pvt. Ltd., coordinating environmental events at Tree Public Foundation, and participating in conservation activities at the Bombay Natural History Society. Disha holds a Master's Degree in Environmental Science from Fergusson College and a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology from S.I.E.S College of Arts, Science & Commerce.
