Chris Nottoli

Chris Nottoli has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Chris started their career as a Strategic Planning and Business Development Intern at the Chicago Transit Authority in 2013. Chris then worked as a Lead Mathematics Tutor at Columbia College Chicago from 2012 to 2014.

In 2014, Chris joined Riverbank Acoustical Laboratories as an Acoustician, where they developed test procedures and conducted noise investigations for consumer products and architectural constructions. Chris also implemented software updates for the laboratory's data acquisition platform.

From 2016 to 2020, Chris worked at HMMH as a Consultant and later as a Senior Consultant. In these roles, they provided technical support for the Aviation Environmental Services practice, managed resources and client relations, supervised colleagues, and presented results through reports and public workshops. Chris had extensive knowledge of FAA's Aviation Environmental Design Tool (AEDT), Microsoft SQL, and ESRI's ArcGIS.

In 2020, Chris joined HNTB as a Planner/Noise Analyst, where they provided technical and modeling support for proposed highway projects using the Federal Highway Administrations Traffic Noise Model (TNM). Chris also assisted the aviation team with reviews of AEDT noise models.

Their most recent role is at Environmental Science Associates, where they work as a Senior Aviation Noise Analyst starting in November 2021.

Throughout their career, Chris has demonstrated expertise in noise analysis, technical support, project management, and client relations in the field of environmental science and acoustics.

Chris Nottoli graduated from Columbia College Chicago in 2014 with a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Acoustics. In October 2018, they obtained a Private Pilot certification (ASEL) from the Federal Aviation Administration.
