Doug Robison

Doug Robison has a diverse work experience starting from 1977, where they worked as a Research Associate at the University of Maryland. Doug then worked at the Mote Marine Laboratory as a Senior Environmental Scientist, managing various projects related to field data collection and analysis. After that, they joined the Tampa Bay Regional Planning Council as a Principal Environmental Planner, where they reviewed environmental documents and secured grant funds.

In 1986, Robison joined Wade Trim as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Project Manager, managing a team and providing permitting support for infrastructure and land development projects. Doug then moved on to King Engineering Associates as the Director of Environmental Services, overseeing a staff of scientists and planners and preparing environmental assessment documents.

From 1992 to 1996, Robison worked at Coastal Environmental Services as a Senior Environmental Scientist and Regional Manager, establishing and managing a Florida office. Doug secured contracts and managed a team of scientists and GIS specialists.

In 1996, Robison joined PBS&J as a Vice President and Regional Business Sector Manager, responsible for the operational management and growth of the East Region Environmental Science business unit. Doug also led a due diligence team for the acquisition of EcoScience, Inc.

Starting in 2011, Robison began working at Atkins, where they held multiple senior roles. Doug served as the Senior Vice President - National Business Sector Manager of the Atkins Environmental Science & Planning (ESP) unit. Doug was later responsible for strategy and business development for the Atkins Water & Environment business unit, and then for the Atkins Water Resource business unit in the southeast U.S. region.

Since 2014, Robison has been working as the Vice President and Senior Scientist at Environmental Science Associates. Doug is responsible for business development, project management, and client service for public and private sector clients in Florida and the southeast U.S. Doug'stechnical focus is on wetland science, coastal restoration, and watershed management.

Doug Robison obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Environmental Science & Resource Management from the University of Maryland between 1972 and 1977. Later, they pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Marine Science & Biological Oceanography from the University of South Florida's College of Marine Science, completing the program from 1979 to 1983. Doug Robison also holds a certification as a Professional Wetland Scientist from the Society of Wetland Scientists. The specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
