Environmental Scientist at Environmental Science Associates

Emily Keenan has extensive experience in the field of environmental science. Emily started their career at the Louisiana State University-Coastal Ecology Institute as a Research Associate in 2001. During their time there, they conducted research on the impact of wastewater input into swamp and marsh areas near the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park Barataria Preserve, as well as the effects of stormwater input into the Pointe Aux Chien Wildlife Management area.

In 2007, they joined Atkins as a Senior Environmental Scientist, where they worked until 2015. Emily then moved on to Environmental Science Associates in 2015, where they currently hold the position of an Environmental Scientist.

Emily Keenan received their Bachelor of Science degree in Zoology from Louisiana State University in 2001. Emily went on to pursue further education and obtained a Master of Science degree in Oceanography and Coastal Sciences from the same university from 2001 to 2004.
