Sherryl Schown

Sherryl Schown has over 20 years of work experience in project management and business analysis. Sherryl has held roles such as Technology Services Lead at Environmental Science Associates, where they manage a diverse portfolio of complex projects and is responsible for project oversight and budget management. Prior to this, they worked at Envision Healthcare as the Enterprise PMO Governance and Process Lead, where they managed a portfolio valued at over $5 million and led the development of portfolio management frameworks and methodologies. Sherryl has also served as a Product Owner/Program Manager at ACP Technologies, Inc./United Healthcare, where they were responsible for overseeing Agile Scrum teams and achieving high user acceptance ratings. Additionally, Schown has experience as a Lead Business Analyst and Product Owner at Envision Healthcare and Kaiser Permanente, respectively. Sherryl'sresponsibilities included collaborating with stakeholders, managing project resources, and ensuring the delivery of features and products aligned with business objectives. Earlier in their career, Schown worked at NexGen Technologies, Inc. as a Team Lead-Business Analyst/Scrum Master, where they led the development and integration of an online payment processing application. Sherryl also worked at the State of Colorado as a Project Lead/Systems Analyst, where they performed project management duties and conducted requirements analysis and management. Schown began their career at the City and County of Denver as a Staff Administrator, providing network support and performing financial analyses.

Sherryl Schown obtained a Bachelor's of Science degree in Business Administration from Regis University from 1999 to 2003. Sherryl later pursued a Master's degree in System's Engineering from the same university, completing it from 2005 to 2008. In addition to their academic achievements, Sherryl has obtained several certifications throughout their career. In March 2020, they became certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT) by ISACA. More recently, Sherryl obtained certifications such as Introduction to Disciplined Agile from LinkedIn in August 2022, and the Project Management Professional (PMP) designation from the Project Management Institute in July 2022. Sherryl also completed courses such as How to Fix Bad Agile, Strategic Thinking, and Unconscious Bias from LinkedIn in June 2021.
