Sydney Evans

Sydney Evans is a Senior Science Analyst at the Environmental Working Group, leading initiatives to enhance collaboration and efficiency within the science department, including a new data science initiative and a peer-to-peer support program. With a strong background in environmental health, Sydney has spearheaded pesticide testing efforts and published peer-reviewed studies to inform the public and advocate for policy changes. Previous experience includes roles as an Environmental Health Specialist at the Monroe County Health Department and as a Public Health Preparedness Assistant, where Sydney addressed community concerns and developed emergency preparedness plans.
