Yogi Pai

Yogi Pai has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies.

Yogi started their career as a Staff Accountant at Pai Foods Pvt. Ltd., where they performed daily cash sales counting, inventory checks, and estimated valuations. Yogi also recorded journals for receivables, payroll, and general expenses.

Yogi then joined GE, where they held various positions over the years. Yogi first worked as a Financial Analyst, preparing and analyzing sales and cost files for the Contractual Services business in Europe and AIM regions. Yogi also collaborated with the CS treasurer on non-functional currency hedge and spot trades, as well as performed cash and bank reconciliations.

In their subsequent role as a Cash and Buy to Pay Lead, Yogi was responsible for managing the Buy to Pay, Intercompany AP, and Cash modules for Charlie ERP (Field Services Oracle 11i). Yogi coordinated close activities for global teams, provided critical updates to stakeholders, and participated in multiple ERP roll-outs.

Yogi then served as a Lead Accountant - PS Controllership HQ, where they were involved in monthly and quarterly financial close for GE's Power Services business. Yogi worked under the guidance of the PS HQ's controller, leading multiple projects related to process improvements and issue resolution. Yogi also owned and monitored high-risk balance sheet accounts.

Yogi'smost recent role at GE was as the Global cash accounting leader for the Gas Power Cash Center of Excellence. In this role, Yogi managed a team of 70 people performing cash accounting, reconciliation, and overall governance. Yogi developed yearly plans and reviewed progress with operational and senior controllers. Yogi also drove policies and guidance in accordance with GE's corporate criteria.

Yogi's current position is as the VP of Finance at Enviroscent, Inc., starting in January 2023. Yogi previously held the role of Controller at the same company from July 2022 to January 2023.

Yogi Pai completed their education from 2001 to 2003 at National High School, where they studied Accountancy & Finance. Yogi then attended St. Xavier's College from 2003 to 2006, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Honors, specializing in Finance and Accounting.
