Peter Randrup is currently an Innovation Lead at Greenwave Aotearoa and a Seaweed Innovation Lead at EnviroStrat, focusing on hatchery management and product development. As the founder of Sea Lamps, they aim to bring the ocean into homes through innovative marine plant solutions. With 8 years of experience in science and 7 years in entrepreneurial ventures, Peter was recognized as the #1 Research Technician in the UoW School of Science and was a finalist in the 2023 NZ Innovation Awards. Additionally, they are an Edmund Hillary Fellow and have a passion for dancing and public speaking as a Toastmaster and MC.
