Tim Smeeton

Tim Smeeton has a long history of working in the research and development field. Tim started their career in 2004 at Sharp Laboratories of Europe, where they held the roles of R&D Manager, Chief Technologist (Photonic Devices and Systems group), and Research Scientist / Senior Researcher / Research Supervisor. In 2020, they joined Envisics as Vice President of Research, where they lead the research of new holographic technologies and next generation head-up displays (HUDs). Tim also serves as Platform Director.

Tim Smeeton obtained their PhD in Materials Science from the University of Cambridge in 2005, following their MSci in Natural Sciences (Materials Science & Metallurgy) from the same institution, which they completed in 2001.
