Siddhesh Pawar, Ph.D. has a diverse work history with experience in various roles and industries. Siddhesh is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Envision Biomedical since December 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Founder & President of Excelsior Worldwide Co. starting in September 2017.

In terms of academia, Siddhesh worked as an Adjunct Instructor in the Department of Sustainable Biomaterials at Virginia since January 2021. Siddhesh also served as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar at North Carolina State University from July 2013 to July 2014.

Siddhesh has industry experience as well. Siddhesh worked at Gichner Shelter Systems as a Laboratory Manager from June 2018 to January 2019. Before that, they were a Manufacturing Process Engineer for the company from September 2017 to June 2018. Siddhesh also worked as a Senior Engineer at Xerox from August 2014 to July 2017.

Additionally, Siddhesh has experience as an Independent Consultant at Tethis from April 2014 to July 2014. Siddhesh started their career as a Graduate Co-op at Xerox from September 2008 to January 2009 and gained early industry exposure as an Undergraduate Intern at Asian Paints from April 2005 to June 2005.

Siddhesh Pawar, Ph.D. has a strong educational background in the field of science and engineering. Siddhesh started their education in 2002 at Mumbai University Institute of Chemical Technology (MUICT) where they completed their Bachelor's degree in Surface Coatings Technology in 2006. Following this, they pursued further studies at Rochester Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2009, earning a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Chemistry.

Driven by their passion for research, Siddhesh went on to Virginia Tech in 2009, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Macromolecular Science and Engineering in 2013. This intensive program provided him with advanced knowledge and expertise in their chosen field.

In addition to their academic achievements, Siddhesh also holds a certification in Design for Lean Six Sigma - Green Belt, which they obtained from Xerox in October 2015. This certification further demonstrates their commitment to professional development and continuous improvement.
