Max Pinnola, MSc

Max Pinnola, MSc has over 10 years of experience in the sustainability sector. Max began their career in 2010 as a Researcher/Intern at IDH The Sustainable Trade Initiative. In 2011, they took on the role of Environmental Scientist at HDR, where they performed environmental impact analyses on a broad range of proposed federal projects. That same year, they also began working as a Freelance Sustainability Consultant. In 2012, they joined Sustrana LLC as a Project Specialist, providing strategic sustainability consulting support for corporate clients. From 2014 to 2020, Max worked at both NewForesight Consultancy as a Sustainability Analyst and at GreenStream Sustainability Consulting as the Owner. In 2020, they became the ESG Lead at Envision Blockchain Solutions.

Max Pinnola holds a Master of Science in Sustainable Development from Utrecht University (2011), a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy and Science from McDaniel College (2008), and a high school diploma from Cheltenham High School. Additionally, they obtained an Advanced Professional Certificate in Sustainable Supply Chain Management from the University of San Francisco in 2013 and a LEED Accredited Professional certification from Green Business Certification, Inc. in 2011.
