Zakir Hossain

Zakir Hossain, C.E.T. is a seasoned professional in geotechnical inspection and testing with extensive experience spanning over three decades. Currently serving as the Lead Geotechnical-Inspection and Testing at EnVision Consultants since May 2024, Zakir has previously held managerial roles at WSP in Canada and SPL Consultants Limited, where responsibilities included overseeing inspection and testing services. Earlier career positions include Assistant Field Services Manager at Coffey Geotechnics and Shaheen and Peaker Ltd., as well as a Senior Field Inspector with Soil Probe Ltd. The foundational career began as a Civil Engineer/Site Manager at Asphalt Botswana Ltd. Zakir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rajshahi University of Engineering & Technology, awarded from 1986 to 1991.
