Birgit Keil has been working in the advertising and marketing industry since 2010, when they began their career as a freelance Creative (Art) Director and Writer. In 1997, they began working as the Big Chicken at Chicken Soup, Inc., where they were responsible for creating comics, national ads, greeting cards, original graphics, and books. In 2020, they became the Creative Director at Envision Health, and in 2021 they began working as a Sr. Art Director at MRM. birgit has also held freelance positions at Weber Shandwick, Duffey Petrosky, MRM//McCann, University of Michigan Alumni Association, and Leo Burnett. In 2015, they were an Activity Book Illustrator and Designer at the Michigan Humane Society.

Birgit Keil has attended Wayne State University and BizdomU. At BizdomU, they studied Entrepreneurial Business Development.
