Alasdair Gunn

Alasdair Gunn is an experienced medical writer currently serving as an Associate Medical Writer at Envision Pharma Group since September 2025. Previously, Alasdair held positions as Group Leader and Senior Scientist in Translational Sciences at Adaptimmune from October 2020 to August 2025, as well as a Senior Scientist and Scientist at Immunocore between November 2016 and March 2020. Prior academic involvement includes a Postdoctoral Research Associate role at the University of Oxford from October 2015 to October 2016, focusing on the role of a novel protein in DNA repair. Alasdair earned a DPhil in Systems Biology/Biochemistry and an MPhys in Physics from the University of Oxford, where education was completed between 2007 and 2015, and earlier attended Cockermouth School for A-levels and GCSEs.
