Daniel East

Daniel East has a diverse work experience in the scientific field. Daniel is currently working as a Scientific Director at Envision Pharma Group since June 2023. Prior to that, they served as an Associate Principal Medical Writer at Elements Communications Ltd from June 2017 to May 2023.

Daniel also has research experience, having worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Royal Veterinary College from 2011 to 2016. During this time, they managed multiple research projects on cancer cell biology and biochemistry, authored research articles, and supervised undergraduate and postgraduate researchers.

Daniel also worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Kent from 2010 to 2011, where they conducted research on the regulation of molecular motors in cells and managed the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.

Daniel's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Researcher at Pfizer from 2005 to 2006, where they coordinated the culture and maintenance of mammalian cell lines and conducted assays to screen novel compounds. Daniel also served as a Research Assistant at Pfizer from 2001 to 2002.

Daniel East obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from The University of Exeter from 2002 to 2005. Daniel then pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biochemistry at the University of Kent, completing it from 2006 to 2010. Prior to their higher education, Daniel attended The Harvey Grammar School from 1994 to 2001.
