Alexander Day has a diverse work experience in various roles within the technology field.

Alexander started their career at Best Buy as a Merchandising Specialist from October 2015 to January 2017.

Alexander then worked at Arizona State University as an IT Assistant Student Worker from May 2017 to May 2018, where they troubleshooted Windows 10-related issues, learned PowerShell, and utilized ServiceNow for ticket management. Alexander also briefly held the position of Desktop Support Student Worker from January 2017 to May 2017.

Following this, they joined Sunflower Bank, N.A. as an IT Support Technician from May 2018 to March 2019. In this role, they developed scripts for Active Directory cleanup and reporting, created an in-house C#/PowerShell app for routine tasks, and administrated the ticketing system.

From September 2020 to March 2021, Alexander worked as a DevOps Engineer at Vendavo. Alexander automated application installation via PowerShell, supported external customers' instances of PricePoint software, and troubleshooted MS SQL databases.

Currently, they are employed at Envision Technology Partners, Inc. as a DevOps Engineer. Alexander started in March 2021 and was promoted to Senior DevOps Engineer in April 2023. In this role, they built a more robust deployment scheduler, configured automated testing and monitoring with Datadog, and developed custom tasks for Azure DevOps.

Overall, Alexander has gained extensive experience in DevOps, automation, PowerShell scripting, troubleshooting, and IT support throughout their career.

Alexander Day completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Information Systems from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University. Alexander attended the university from 2014 to 2018. Prior to that, they graduated from Fountain Hills High School in 2014. Alexander also obtained additional certifications in the field of Azure administration and network engineering from Microsoft, with the Azure Administrator Associate certification being attained in August 2021 and the Azure Network Engineer Associate certification in July 2022.
