Eduardo Rodriguez Cissp

Eduardo Rodriguez, CISSP, CISM has extensive work experience in information security and cybersecurity. Eduardo started their career in 2000 at the US Navy, where they held various roles such as Information System Security Officer (ISSO), Senior System Administrator, and Senior Cybersecurity Analyst. At the US Navy, they managed cybersecurity programs, conducted risk assessments, and implemented security controls for a large communications system enclave. Eduardo also worked as the Director of Information Security at Envisioneering Inc, where they were responsible for budgeting, resourcing, and proposal submissions for information technology and information security initiatives. Eduardo has a strong background in Risk Management Framework (RMF), Assessment and Authorization (A&A), and Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) processes. Their expertise includes managing databases like eMASS and XACTA and working with various stakeholders to ensure compliance and timely delivery of projects.

Eduardo Rodriguez, CISSP, CISM has a strong education background and numerous certifications in the field of cybersecurity. Eduardo obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Cybersecurity Management & Policy from the University of Maryland Global Campus, graduating in 2020. Eduardo further pursued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity Management & Policy, which they completed in 2024.

In addition to their academic achievements, Eduardo has also obtained several certifications. In 2015, they earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In 2019, they obtained the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA. Furthermore, in 2010, they achieved the Security+ (2008 edition) certification and Network+ (2009 edition) certification from CompTIA. Eduardo then obtained the Security+ ce certification and Network+ ce certification from CompTIA in 2013. Their most recent certification is the Navy Qualified Validator (NQV) certification, which they obtained from NAVWAR in May 2020.
