Fareed Nabiel Fareed MD, MBA, FACEP has a diverse work experience in healthcare leadership roles. Fareed Nabiel began their career as an Emergency Medicine Resident at NYU Langone Health from 2001 to 2005. Fareed Nabiel then worked at Columbia University Irving Medical Center as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine and Director of the Columbia Research Associates Program from 2005 to 2010. After that, they joined Emergency Medical Associates (EMA) as the Chairman of the Emergency Department and later became the Regional Medical Director from 2010 to 2016. During their time at EMA, they focused on improving clinical practices, operational efficiency, and patient experience. In 2016, Fareed joined Envision Healthcare, initially serving as the Senior Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer for the Northeast region before being promoted to the Executive Vice President & Chief Clinical Officer for the Eastern US. In these roles, they oversaw multiple practice sites and employed a large number of healthcare professionals, playing a key role in strategy formulation and achieving shared goals with partner health systems and hospitals. Dr. Fareed Nabiel Fareed has an impressive education history. Fareed Nabiel graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. Fareed Nabiel then pursued their medical education at Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons, earning their MD degree in 2001. In 2017, Dr. Fareed completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Marist College School of Management. In addition to their degrees, they also hold certifications in Emergency Medicine from the American Board of Emergency Medicine, including Emergency Medicine Certification obtained in December 2016.
