Michael Simon

Michael Simon, MD, MBA, FASA, currently serves as a Commissioner at The Joint Commission since January 2016 and holds the position of Transitional Medical Director at Envision Healthcare since June 2015. Additionally, Michael has been a Cardiothoracic Anesthesiologist at Sheridan Healthcorp since February 2015 and served as a Regional Medical Director and Chairman at North American Partners in Anesthesia from July 1998 until February 2015. Michael earned a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine from 1988 to 1992, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Washington State University between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Organic Chemistry from Fordham University from 1984 to 1988.
