Ron Gourneau

Ron Gourneau is an experienced OB/GYN hospitalist currently working at Envision Healthcare as of December 2023. Prior to this role, Ron served as the Medical Director for OB/GYN at Allina Health, overseeing operational functions for over 90 providers across 32 clinics in the Greater Minneapolis-St. Paul Area from July 2003 to December 2023. Additional roles at Allina Health included directing the OB/Gyn Clinic Division and serving as Lead Physician, where Ron was responsible for clinical initiatives and quality assurance. Prior to Allina Health, Ron held the position of Attending Physician at Cherokee Nation WW Hastings Indian Hospital. Ron completed a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at the University of South Dakota, followed by a Doctor of Medicine degree from the same institution. Further medical training was obtained through an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at the University of Minnesota, and Ron enhanced leadership skills at the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business.
