Samantha Maras has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Samantha is currently serving as the Vice President of Quality and Practice Transformation at Envision Healthcare, starting in November 2022. Previously, they held multiple roles at NorthShore University HealthSystem, including Assistant Vice President of Ambulatory Quality and Population Health from May 2021 to October 2022, Assistant Vice President of Ambulatory Quality and Care Transformation from November 2017 to May 2021, and Director of Operations for the Medical Group: Primary Care from August 2015 to November 2017. Before that, they worked at HSHS St. John's Hospital as an Executive Director for the Prairie Heart Institute and Interim for Oncology Services and Wound Services from June 2014 to August 2015, and as a Director of Outpatient Cardiovascular Diagnostic Services from May 2012 to June 2014. Samantha Maras began their career in healthcare as an Administrative Fellow at Hospital Sisters Health System, where they worked from July 2010 to May 2012.
Samantha Maras has a Master's degree in Health Systems Management from RUSH University, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Health Policy and Management from Providence College, from 2004 to 2008. Samantha also holds a certification in Basic Certificate Quality and Safety from IHI, which they obtained in 2021.
