Matthew Gootee, CPA, serves as the Senior Director of Accounting at Envita Solutions since June 2022, leading a team in managing financial aspects, including collections, working capital management, financial statements, and compliance with US GAAP. Previously, Matthew held the position of Director of Accounting at Heritage Environmental Services, overseeing financial statement preparation for multiple companies and ensuring compliance with audit activities. Earlier experience includes roles as Audit Director and Assistant Accounting & Auditing Director at BKD CPAs & Advisors, where Matthew managed audit engagements for various sectors and supervised audit staff development. An accounting internship at Herff Jones and an assistant role at Indiana University School of Public & Environmental Affairs provided foundational experience. Matthew holds a B.A. in Accounting and Finance from the University of Indianapolis.
