Alain Stricker-Krongrad has extensive experience in the biomedical field. Alain is currently serving as the CEO of Envol Biomedical since 2019. Prior to that, they held multiple roles at Sinclair Research Center, LLC, including Vice President of Clinical and Translational Medicine from 2016 to 2018, and Vice-President of Science and Business Development from 2012 to 2016. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Chief Executive Officer of Biomedical Research Model. Alain also worked at Charles River Laboratories as the Chief Scientific Officer from 2006 to 2010, and as the Senior Director of Preclinical Safety and Pharmacology from 2006 to 2008. Additionally, they served as an Adjunct Professor of Pharmacology at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences from 2006 to 2009. Earlier in their career, they held roles as Senior Director of Pharmacology at Athersys from 2003 to 2006, Senior Scientist at Millennium Pharmaceuticals from 1998 to 2003, Scientist-Lab Head at Novartis from 1996 to 1998, Post-Doc/Scientist at Ciba-Geigy2 from 1994 to 1996, and Doc/Scientist at INSERM from 1988 to 1994.

Alain Stricker-Krongrad's education history begins in 1984, where they pursued a Master's degree in Animal Physiology at Universite de Lorraine, focusing on Pharmacology. This program lasted until 1988. During the same time period, they also enrolled in a Master's program in Psychology, specializing in Clinical Psychology, at the Marketing Academy in London. In 1988, they completed a D.E.A. (Diploma of Advanced Studies) in Physiology and Behavior at the University of Strasbourg. Finally, from 1989 to 1993, Alain pursued a Ph.D. in Physiology and Pharmacology at Universite de Lorraine.
