Doug Wood

Doug Wood has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Doug began their career as a Developer and Director of Product Management at Shana Corporation from 1991 to 1994. Doug then joined Microsoft in 1994, where they held various leadership roles including Group Program Manager in the Windows Division, Group Program Manager in the Subscription and Commerce Group, Lead Program Manager for NetDocs, and Lead Program Manager for Exchange Server. From 2007 to 2012, Doug served as the Director of Program Management for Dynamics CRM and Product Unit Manager in CRM, responsible for bringing the first release of Dynamics CRM Online to market. Doug also worked as a Group Program Manager in Bing/MSN Apps, overseeing the delivery of consumer modern experiences across web and mobile platforms. In 2019, Doug took a career break before founding a Stealth Startup in 2020. More recently, they have served as an Independent Software Consultant for a Fortune 100 Company and a mid-sized SaaS company, as well as a Software/SaaS Consultant at Envorso, starting in 2022.

Doug Wood obtained their high school education from Ross Sheppard High School between the years 1981 and 1984. Doug then pursued further education at the University of Alberta, studying Software Engineering. From 1984 to 1991, they completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree.
