Bowen L. Kelley is an experienced educator currently serving as a History Teacher and Upper School Equity & Inclusion Student Programming Coordinator at The Packer Collegiate Institute, where responsibilities include teaching US History and designing electives such as "Africa Through the Lens" and "Jim Crow and Apartheid: Roots, Resistance, and Reckoning." Previously held positions include History Teacher and Upper School DEI Coordinator at The Park School of Baltimore, and a History & Social Science Teacher at Deerfield Academy. Bowen began the teaching career at the African Leadership Academy, where significant contributions were made to curriculum development and student mentorship. As a Field Staff member for Envoys, Bowen co-facilitated educational travel programs to South Africa and Morocco. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Arts in African Studies and French from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
