Envoys
Rachel Kirk is an accomplished academic and program leader currently serving as Adjunct Faculty at Bard Early College New Orleans and as a Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University within the Center for French and Francophone Studies. With extensive experience in coordinating events and teaching French, Rachel has led programs focused on Arabic language and culture in Morocco and engineering in France through CIEE, as well as field leadership for civil rights and French immersion programs with Envoys. Previous roles include Program Manager at Columbia University's Earth Institute, where Rachel managed communications for research initiatives, and co-founder of the Women's Global Empowerment Initiative, overseeing a global education program for high school girls. With a strong educational background, including a PhD candidacy in French Studies at Louisiana State University and a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University, Rachel has demonstrated a commitment to advancing education, international collaboration, and social justice.
