Pietro Scalfaro

Pietro Scalfaro is the SVP, Chief Medical Officer & Head, Clinical Development at ENYO Pharma. Prior to this, they were a Senior Pediatrician at CHILDREN'S UNIV HOSPITAL CHUV, where they managed and supervised a junior physician team of 5,000 inpatients and 34,000 outpatients. Pietro has also been a Board Member at Pryv, an advisor for personal data management to enhance subject rights under GDPR such as transparency, portability with eHealth software to improve life sciences, health care synergies and workflows. Additionally, Pietro has served as a Scientific Advisor at Sophia Genetics, where they provided advice on NGS related clinical strategies. Pietro has also been a Pediatrician at SWISSMEDIKIDS and an Executive Personalized Medicine at ASKMYDOC SA.

Pietro Scalfaro is a Swiss medical doctor and ex-MBA who has a wide range of educational experiences. Pietro earned their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) from the University of Lausanne - UNIL, and later became certified by the Swiss Medical Board in FMH Intensive Care Medicine and FMH Pediatrics. Pietro also has an ex-MBA from the HEC Lausanne - The Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Lausanne, and has various diplomas in business and management from executive education programs.
