John Lazar

John Lazar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in leadership and advisory roles across various organizations. Currently serving as Chair of the Board of Trustees at the Raspberry Pi Foundation since October 2020, Lazar is also the Co-founder and General Partner at Enza Capital. As a Fellow and President of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Lazar has contributed to significant initiatives such as the Africa Prize for Engineering Innovation and has held various committee positions. In addition, Lazar has served as an advisor at KindLink and as a Non-Executive Director at what3words. With a rich background in technology management, including a long tenure at Metaswitch Networks in multiple roles, Lazar's educational credentials include advanced degrees in Computing and Politics from the University of Oxford and a B.Sc Hons from the University of the Witwatersrand.
