Shweta Tripathi is Global Head of Enzen's Knowledge Studio. She is passionate about sustainable development and strongly believes that environmental conservation is the only way to ensure a liveable planet for future generations.
Shweta has more than 17 years of experience in the water and energy sector, and has worked with utilities, academia and NGOs across a wide range of geographies. She is currently working on strategic portfolio growth and knowledge development for Enzen.
Her core philosophy is to leverage knowledge with passion and empathy and do whatever it takes to reduce inefficient use of energy and water, so that more and more people can have access to these life essentials.
A multicultural person who thrives on collaboration, team work and creativity, Shweta is a Chevening Gurukul Fellow and has been honoured with the FQRNT Fellowship from the Ministry of Education and Science in Quebec, Canada, and a DAAD Fellowship from the German Academic Exchange Service.
Shweta holds a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Lehigh University in the USA. She also has two Master’s degrees: one a joint degree from IIT Kanpur/ Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Environmental Engineering and Management, and the second from Kanpur University in Life Sciences.
Prior to Enzen she worked as a senior research fellow in Chemical Engineering at McGill University, Canada, where her research focused on nanotechnology and ground water remediation.
