Zefeng Wang

Scientific Founder at Enzerna

Zefeng Wang has extensive experience in the field of biosciences. In 2002, they were a post-doc fellow at MIT. In 2007, they became an Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. In 2013, they were promoted to Associate Professor at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. In 2014, they became a Scientific Founder at Enzerna Biosciences. In 2015, they became a Director and Principal Investigator at the CAS-MPG Partner Institute for Computational Biology, as well as an Adjunct Professor at the UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine. In 2018, they became a Co-Founder at CirCode Biomed.

Zefeng Wang began their education in 1989, when they attended Tsinghua University and studied Biotechnology from 1989 to 1994, as well as Computer Science and Technology from 1991 to 1994. Zefeng then attended the Institute for Biophysics, Chinese Academy of Science, where they earned a Master of Science degree in Biochemistry from 1994 to 1997. Finally, Zefeng Wang attended The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biological and Biomedical Sciences from 1997 to 2002.
