Emma Cirpka

Emma Cirpka is a Senior Advisor Strategy at the Dutch DPA, where they coordinate the implementation of new European legislation. They previously held roles such as a legal trainee at NOYB in Vienna and a council member for D66 Apeldoorn, where they focused on public order and digital security. Emma graduated with distinction in both a Master's in Law, concentrating on International Technology Law at VU Amsterdam, and a Master's in Human Rights Law at SOAS. Their interests lie at the intersection of human rights and AI technologies, particularly concerning border control and migration management, as exemplified by their thesis on the European Travel Authorisation System.
